Arsenal are ready to rekindle their interest in Southampton hotshot Morgan Schneiderlin, Daily Mirror has suggested.
The Gunners are widely expected to reinforce the squad in January and Arsene Wenger is being linked with a new move on his long-term target.
Arsenal were unable to sign the Frenchman in the summer, but they are ready to try and make things right in the winter transfer window.
It remains to be seen whether Southampton will be interested in selling their prized asset, although it is believed an offer in the region of £25 million would prove sufficient.
Morgan Schneiderlin has continued the rich vein of form in spite of asking to leave the club back in August, having helped the Saints climb to third in the league standings by scoring 3 goals in 8 Premier League outings.
The 24-year-old has also become an important player for France, featuring in all four matches after the 2014 World Cup.
