Arsenal go after Chalov

According to a recent report from Sky Sports News, Arsenal are one of the major clubs currently monitoring the status of Fedor Chalov. The young Russian was top scorer in their Premier League last season with 15 goals in 30 appearances. The CSKA star actually scored against Arsenal during the quarter finals of the Europa League a while back, and also made the headlines after scoring in the win against Real Madrid at the Bernabeu. At the age of just 21 he’s already showing the kind of consistency and maturity that a player ten years his elder would, and he currently has three years remaining on his current contract.

Arsenal already have a few world class forwards in their ranks in the form of Aubameyang and Lacazette, but if they want to try and get some decent back up options into the squad, then someone like Chalov is the right way to go.
