Arsenal have bid for Lyon midfielder Houssem Aouar

Arsenal are interested in signing Houssem Aouar from Lyon in the summer transfer window, according to Le10Sport. It has been reported by the French news outlet that the Gunners have made a bid for the France international midfielder.

Lyon are looking for between €20 million and £25 million for Aouar. Arsenal’s initial offer is less than that. However, the French club and the Premier League outfit are locked in talks, and discussions are going well. Lyon will not stand in Aouar’s way if they get what they want.

Aouar has been at Lyon his entire professional club football career so far. The 22-year-old has earned one cap for France and is rated as one of the better young midfielders in Europe. The younger would be a very good signing for Arsenal, especially if they can get him for between €20 million and £25 million.
