Arsenal in contact over signing Victor Osimhen in January

Arsenal are interested in signing Victor Osimhen in the January transfer window, according to Football Insider. Osimhen is on loan at Galatasaray from Napoli at the moment, and Arsenal have reportedly made contact regarding a potential switch to the Emirates Stadium.

Osimhen is one of the best and most lethal strikers in the world and joined Turkish giants Galatasaray from Serie A club Napoli on a season-long loan deal in the summer of 2024. The Nigeria international striker has scored 11 goals and given four assists in 12 Turkish Super Lig starts so far this campaign and found the back of the net 15 times and provided three assists in 22 Serie A starts last season.

Arsenal are looking to sign a new striker in the January transfer window because of the injury to Gabriel Jesus, while Germany international forward Kai Havertz has also struggled to score as many goals as he did last season. The Gunners have been linked with Benjamin Sesko as well.
