Arsenal are set to move for Bayer Leverkusen forward Javier Hernandez, according to the Daily Star.
The Gunners are on the looking to bolster their striking options, and have impressed by the Mexico international’s form since he moved the Bundesliga in the summer.
The twenty-seven-year-old was sold to Leverkusen by Manchester United back in August and has so far scored nineteen goals in twenty-two appearances in all competitions.
He was also prolific during his time in England despite mostly being used as a substitute, scoring fifty-nine goals in one hundred and fifty-seven outings for the Red Devils.
After falling out of favour following Louis van Gaal’s arrival at Old Trafford, he was sent on loan to Real Madrid last season while he has also played for Guadalajara – the club where he began his career back in his home country.
Internationally, he has forty-two goals in seventy-seven senior appearances for Mexico.
