Premier League giants Arsenal are believed to be readying a substantial offer for Borussia Dortmund forward Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, according to Bild.
The Gunners are desperate to mount a serious title challenge in England next season and they have already agreed to sign goalkeeper Petr Cech from Chelsea.
And it looks as though another marquee signing could be on the cards with Arsenal set to submit a €40 million proposal for Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang.
Arsene Wenger has been reportedly impressed with the forward’s performances in matches against the Gunners this season and he is determined to lure him to the Emirates at the earliest opportunity.
And while Dortmund are not too keen on selling their prized asset, the club chiefs are going to seriously consider said offer.
Aubameyang, 26, bagged 16 goals in 33 Bundesliga outings last term despite start the campaign on the wing and only playing as a centre forward in the second part of the season.
