Arsenal in race for Oxford

Arsenal are considering a bid for West Ham United’s teenage star Reece Oxford, according to the Mirror.

The sixteen year old impressed as the Hammers beat the Gunners on the opening weekend of the season, and the North London outfit could make their move at the end of the season.

That appearance saw him become the second-youngest starter in Premier League history behind former Everton man Jose Baxter.

Manchester United, Manchester City and Chelsea have also been linked with a move for the versatile starlet who can play as a defender and a defensive midfielder.

Oxford has made six appearances this season – three in the league and three in the Europa League, while internationally he has been capped seventeen times for England’s U17s, scoring once.

Slaven Bilic’s side travel to Manchester United on Saturday afternoon, and can be backed at a price of 8/1 to take all three points.
