Arsenal in talks for Malcom

Sky Italia is reporting that Premier League giants Arsenal are stepping up their efforts to sign Brazilian forward Malcom from Bordeaux.

The Gunners are in the market to sign a replacement for Man City bound Alexis Sanchez and they seem to have decided to make a move on the les Girondins hotshot.

According to Sky Italia, Arsenal are set to meet Malcom’s agents later today to try and agree a deal for his services.

After speaking to the player and his representatives, the Gunners will open talks with Bordeaux, who reportedly want €50 million for their star man.

Malcom, 20, has been one of Bordeaux’s star performers ever since he joined from Corinthians two years ago, having managed 18 goals and 13 assists in 79 competitive outings.
