Arsenal in talks over Pepe

According to a recent report from France Football, Arsenal have held talks with Ligue 1 side Lille over the possibility of bringing Nicolas Pepe over to the Emirates. The Gunners have had a poor end to the campaign, with many fans and pundits alike believing that Unai Emery needs to be given the necessary funds to make some noise in the summer transfer window. If the investment is there, then it appears as if Pepe is going to be one of his first major targets after months of proposed interest.

Arsenal aren’t the only side said to be interested, though, with a few other Premier League teams as well as Bayern Munich being in the running.

One of the major appeals of going to Arsenal will surely be the game time, as it’s no secret that they are looking to sell quite a few players in order to make room for a new crop of young stars.
