According to a recent report from AS, Premier League side Arsenal are currently in talks with Spanish giants Real Madrid over the possibility of signing Lucas Vazquez. The winger would be set to cost them around £30 million, and is also believed to be wanted by Paris Saint-Germain, Inter Milan and Bayern Munich. That’s some stiff competition for Arsenal to face to say the least, but even with all of that, it feels like they should be somewhat confident in themselves. If they want to bring in the big players they’ll need to approach these negotiations with some confidence, and behind the scenes, it’s going to be absolutely essential for them to put together some funds.
Vazquez is a massively underrated talent and would be a great signing for whoever can get their hands on him. If Arsenal aren’t careful, then they’ll end up slipping through the crack once again – which wouldn’t be ideal given the current state of their squad.
