According to a recent report from Sky Sports News, Arsenal’s proposed bid of around £25 million for Celtic defender Kieran Tierney includes ‘too many’ add-ons depending on how Arsenal’s attempt to qualify for the UEFA Champions League goes. Celtic are of the belief that it is not a realistic aim, and are more interested in getting cash upfront instead of waiting to see whether or not the Gunners are able to live up to their promise this season.
The majority of Arsenal fans would rather just see the club throw money at the situation in an attempt to get things moving, but right now, it doesn’t appear as if they’re all too interested in doing that. Instead, they want to drag their feet and try and do things their own way, which Celtic aren’t going to fall for.
Tierney is one of their biggest commodities and if they can’t get what they feel like they deserve for him, then this deal could be done before it’s even begun.
