Arsenal have made an official inquiry into the availability of Juventus forward Sebastian Giovinco, reports Tuttosport.
Arsene Wenger seems to have decided to splash out on the new centre forward after Theo Walcott was ruled out for the season and the Italy international is one of the players he is looking at.
According to Tuttosport, the Frenchman has contacted Giovinco’s official representative Andrea D’Amico to learn more about his situation in Turin.
The 26-year-old is a much cheaper alternative to some of Arsenal’s other targets considering that he should be available for mere €10 million.
Sebastian Giovinco has seen very little playing time since Juventus acquired the services of Carlos Tevez and Fernando Llorente, having started just 2 Serie A games this term.
He is, therefore, hoping to leave the Bianconeri by the end of the month and a move to Arsenal would certainly appeal to the highly rated footballer.
