Arsenal interested in Berge

According to a recent report from VG, Arsenal are interested in making a move to sign Sheffield United midfielder Sander Berge.

While Berge may be the kind of integral player that the Blades can’t afford to let go, he also wants to do everything in his power to preserve his status as a Premier League player. The Gunners may not be in the sort of spot they want to be in right now in the top flight, but one thing is for sure – they’re in a far better position than Sheffield United.

Mikel Arteta is well aware of the challenges that currently face the club and while he may not entirely open to admitting it just yet, the toughest part is yet to come. If he wants to bring Arsenal back from the brink, he needs to think outside the box with his transfers, and Berge is the kind of player who represents that.
