Arsenal interested in Coutinho

According to a recent report from Sport, Arsenal are planning to make a loan approach in an attempt to sign Philippe Coutinho this summer.

Coutinho, who is still signed to a contract with Barcelona, has had questions raised over what his future will look like in the beautiful game – with the main question Arsenal want answering being about his fitness.

They want him to prove that he is fit and ready to go at the highest level and if he can do that, a loan venture to the Emirates could well be on the cards.

Coutinho has already made an impact in the Premier League before during his days with Liverpool but as we all know, that was a long time ago.

If he wants to maintain his allure in the eyes of football fans across the globe, becoming the talisman for the Gunners could be a great route forward.
