Arsenal are interested in signing Dominic Calvert-Lewin from Everton in the January transfer window, according to The Sun. It has been reported that the Gunners are looking for potential replacements for Alexandre Lacazette, and one of the players manager Mikel Arteta is looking for Calvert-Lewin.
Lacazette is out of contract at Arsenal at the end of the season, and it looks very likely that the 30-year-old France international will leave next summer. Arsenal manager Arteta is open to selling Lacazette in the middle of the season, but only if he is able to bring in a suitable replacement.
Calvert-Lewin has established himself as an important player in the Everton team. The Toffees are unlikely to sell the England international striker in the middle of the season. Calvert-Lewin has scored three goals in three Premier League matches so far this season, and scored 16 goals in the league last season.
