Arsenal interested in Garcia

According to a recent report from Mundo Deportivo, Arsenal are hoping to make a move for Manchester City defender Eric Garcia.

With the youngster’s contract coming to an end at the end of the season, the expectation has always been that he would make his way over to the Nou Camp to join Barcelona. However, with Mikel Arteta working with Garcia before he made the jump back over to the Emirates, it seems like he believes he could lure him down to North London.

This already feels like one of those running transfer sagas that goes on for longer than most of us can even remember, but it’s definitely worth noting that Garcia is still so young. The next phase of his career could be massively important to his development as a player and if Arsenal secure his signature, it’d be a really big sign of their intent as a club.
