According to a recent report from Daily Express, Arsenal could look to take advantage of Antoine Griezmann’s current struggles with Barcelona by bringing him over to the Emirates during the summer transfer window.
There was a great deal of excitement over the future of Griezmann when he first arrived at the Nou Camp, but this season hasn’t gone entirely to plan for him – and that’s been especially true since the La Liga restart.
With that being said, Arsenal aren’t the only club interested in making a move, with Inter Milan also looking into the possibility of signing the Frenchman.
Signing a player of Griezmann’s stature is going to require a lot of effort from the Gunners, but as we’ve already seen, manager Mikel Arteta is willing to do whatever it takes in order to improve the fortunes of the club.
Whether or not this will be a step too far, though, remains to be seen.
