According to a recent report from Foot Mercato, Arsenal have held discussions regarding a possible move for Eden Hazard.
In what could well be one of the most surprising moves of the summer transfer window, Arsenal are pursuing the possibility of Hazard returning to London and the Premier League – with the Gunners instead of the Blues.
The Belgian made a name for himself during his many years at Stamford Bridge with Chelsea but upon moving to Real Madrid, he hasn’t been able to catch fire in the same way.
A plague of injuries have certainly held him back but in a general sense, La Liga doesn’t seem to suit him as much as English football’s top flight.
The winger is set to bring an end to his stay in Madrid but instead of dwelling on what’s been, he’s already looking ahead to what be a completely fresh start at the Emirates.
