Arsenal are interested in signing Moussa Dembele from Lyon in the summer transfer window, according to Foot Mercato. The report in the French news outlet has claimed that the Gunners are among the Premier League clubs who have been scouting the striker this season.
Dembele has been on the books of Lyon since 2018 when he joined from Scottish Premiership giants Celtic. The French striker spent the second half of last season on loan at Atletico Madrid. The 25-year-old has made 15 starts and five substitute appearances in Ligue 1 so far this season, scoring 10 goals and providing two assists in the process. Dembele has given one assist in three Europa League matches so far this campaign.
Arsenal are fourth in the Premier League table at the moment with 51 points from 26 matches. Meanwhile, Lyon currently find themselves 10th in the Ligue 1 table with 41 points from 28 matches.
