According to Eurosport, Arsenal are interested in signing Emiliano Buendia from Norwich City in the January transfer window. The report has claimed that the Gunners are looking for a creative midfielder and have identified the Argentine as a potential target.
The report has added that Norwich, who are playing in the Championship at the moment after getting relegated from the Premier League at the end of last season, do not want to sell the 24-year-old, and that it will cost Arsenal at least £25 million to change their stance. The Canaries are at the top of the Premier League table at the moment with 44 points from 22 matches, three points clear of second-placed Brentford.
According to WhoScored, Buendia has scored six goals and provided six assists in 18 Championship matches so far this season, and scored one goal and gave seven assists in 28 Premier League starts in 2019-20.
