Arsenal have joined the race to sign Rennes winger Ismaila Sarr, according to the Mirror.
The twenty-year-old is one of the hottest prospects currently playing in Europe, drawing comparisons with Barcelona’s Ousmane Dembele.
Sarr moved to Rennes from Metz in the summer of 2017 and has since racked up thirty-three appearances in all competitions, scoring eight goals.
Internationally he has been capped nineteen times for Senegal, scoring three goals while he played every minute of his sides World Cup campaign this summer.
Inter Milan are also interested in securing his services with Rennes valuing the player at £20m though they have insisted that he will not be sold when the transfer window reopens in January.
After losing their opening two games of the season, Arsenal have won each of their last five games in all competitions and on Wednesday turn their attention to the EFL Cup.
They welcome Championship promotion hopefuls Brentford to the Emirates with the home win inside ninety minutes priced at 1/3.
