Arsenal set up a Champions League semi-final showdown with English rivals Manchester United after a convincing 3-0 win over Villarreal here on Wednesday.
The Gunners, who drew 1-1 in Spain in the first leg of this quarter-final, were ahead after just 10 minutes at the Emirates thanks to a fine chip from England international Theo Walcott.
Emmanuel Adebayor added a second on the hour before Robin van Persie converted a 69th-minute penalty to make the aggregate score 4-1.
Villarreal finished the match with 10 men after Sebastien Eguren was red-carded for a foul on Walcott which led to the penalty.
