Arsenal join race for Draxler

Daily Express has suggested that Arsenal are readying summer bid for Schalke starlet Julian Draxler.

The 19-year-old is widely regarded as one of Europe’s most talented footballers and he could easily leave the club in the summer.

Draxler has already hinted that he could leave if Schalke fail to clinch Champions League qualification, and the Miners do not seem to be in a good position at the monent.

Real Madrid are rumoured to be pondering a move for the Germany international, but Arsenal seen to have joined the race as well.

Arsene Wenger is looking to use his £70 million transfer kitty in the best possible way and he could bid up to £15 million for Draxler.

Julian Draxler is already considered a key member of the squad at Veltins Arena, while he has earned 4 Germany caps up to date. The midfielder has scored 8 goals in 27 Bundesliga fixtures this season.
