Daily Mirror understands that Arsenal are in talks with Juventus over the signing of striker Mirko Vucinic.
Arsene Wenger has decided to add a new striker to his ranks following injuries to Olivier Giroud and Nicklas Bendtner, and he seems to have made the Montenegrin one of his primary targets.
The Gunners had a chat with Juventus general manager Beppe Marotta last week, but they have been told the Bianconeri would only consider an outright sale.
The problem is that Tottenham are also eyeing the experienced forward, and everything suggests the Montenegro international would be moving to North London in January.
Despite playing an important role at Juventus Arena last season, Vucinic lost his place in the side this term and in turn expressed his desire to leave this winter.
The Gunners still lead the chase in English Premier League and are available at 4/1 to lift the league trophy this season.
