Daily Express has suggested that Arsenal are keeping close tabs on Juventus forwards Alessandro Matri and Fabio Quagliarella.
Arsene Wenger is looking for attacking reinforcements as he doesn’t believe Olivier Giroud and Lukas Podolski have managed to compensate for the departure of Robin van Persie.
The Frenchman is reportedly showing interest in the Juventus duo and has already enquired about the availability of two players.
The Bianconeri have agreed to sign Fernando Llorente and are looking to recruit another high-profile striker.
With Mirko Vucinic and Sebastian Giovinco already in Turin, both Matri and Quagliarella could be allowed to leave in the summer.
The two players have done really well this term considering the lack of first team opportunities and are, therefore, unlikely to come on the cheap.
While Quagliarella has scored 12 goals in 30 competitive appearances, Matri has netted 9 times in 33 fixtures this season.
