Spanish media outlet Don Balon has moved to suggest that Arsenal are showing interest in Real Madrid full-back Danilo Luiz da Silva.
The Gunners are clearly afraid they won’t be able to keep hold of Hector Bellerin and they believe the Brazilian would be a very good replacement.
Danilo joined los Blancos from FC Porto two years ago, but he has been playing second fiddle to Daniel Carvajal and appear to be considering his options at the moment.
The Brazilian hasn’t quite managed to properly adapt to the new surroundings and he is thinking about a change of scenery.
Danilo had enjoyed three very successful campaigns with FC Porto before moving to Santiago Bernabeu, and considering that he will turn 26 in July, there is still plenty of time for the defender to get his career back on track.
As things stand now, Real Madrid chiefs probably wouldn’t object to the Brazilian leaving the club in the summer.
