Arsenal keen to keep Sanchez

The Metro understands that Arsene Wenger is ready to splash the cash to keep Alexis Sanchez at Arsenal.

The Chile international scored twice as the Gunners beat Bournemouth 3-1 on Sunday afternoon taking his goals tally to ten so far this season.

Since signing from Barcelona in the summer of 2014, the twenty-seven year old has made one hundred and nine appearances in all competitions, scoring fifty-two times and was part of the squad that won the FA Cup eighteen months ago.

His current deal at the Emirates Stadium is set to expire at the end of next season and there are a number of clubs keeping an eye on the situation, though Wenger is eager to secure his services.

That victory over the Cherries keeps the North Londoners three points behind league leaders Chelsea and they can now be backed at a price of 8/1 to win the title.
