Premier League side Arsenal are said to be hot on the trail of Paraguay midfielder Richard Sanchez.
The Gunners are said to have sent scouts to watch the Olimpia Asuncion star on Monday night in the scintillating 3-3 stalemate against Sol de America.
Sanchez played 79 minutes of the game before getting replaced by Julian Benitez.
The 21-year-old midfielder is enjoying a successful season at Olimpia Asuncion and was last week rewarded for his fine form with a first-ever senior call-up. Sanchez is now ready to made his Paraguay debut against USA next week.
Sanchez’s stellar displays have caught the attention of the Premier League giants who are reportedly ready to launch a bit for the Paraguayan in attempt to beat the competition to his signature.
In addition to Arsenal, Argentinean heavyweights Boca Juniors have also been credited with an interest in the talented 21-year-old.
