Arsenal are showing interest in Nurnberg striker Josip Drmic, German daily newspaper Bild has revealed.
The Gunners were alerted of the player’s potential a while back and they have since been keeping a close eye on his performances.
Arsenal missed a good chance to sign him on a cut-price deal as Drmic left Zurich for Nurnberg in the summer, with his value increasing a great deal this season.
The 21-year-old has impressed in his first ever Bundesliga campaign, scoring 12 goals in 24 league matches for his new employers.
Drmic has been earning rave reviews for his displays this term, and everything suggests he could soon be leaving Nurnberg for a big European club.
Arsenal are hoping to end a long trophy drought this term in an attempt to improve their chances of signing high-quality players in the future, and the Gunners are 12/1 to lift the Premier League trophy.
