Portuguese daily newspaper Record understands that Arsenal have emerged as favourites to recruit Benfica starlet Goncalo Guedes.
The Gunners could make a move on the talented footballer as they expect Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain to leave the club, but Manchester United are also believed to be keen.
Even though Guedes has a €60 million release clause in his current deal, the Eagles seem ready to accept €30 million for their prized possession, and his agent Jorge Mendes took the hint.
Namely, the super agent has traveled to England in an attempt to find the new club for his client, meaning there is a possibility of the 20-year-old leaving in the January window.
The likes of Valencia, Paris Saint-Germain and Monaco have also expressed interest in the highly rated footballer, who already has two Portugal caps to his name.
Meanwhile, Guedes has made 39 Primeira Liga appearances for Benfica, and scored 5 goals.
