Manchester City midfielder, Michael Johnson has turned down the latest contract offer from the club; a move which has put Arsenal and Everton on alert, according to The Daily Mail.
Arsenal are still trying to bring in a midfielder to cover the losses of Flamini and Golberto and Johnson might be an option should the young Englishman decide to quit Manchester City.
Everton, meanwhile have been linked with a pack of foreign player to cover various position in David Moyes’ team which will look to challenge for a top four spot. Johnson was not among the players linked, but the Scottish manager might consider making a move for the contract rebel.
