Arsenal are reportedly weighing up moves for Diego Lugano and Joseph Yobo, Daily Mail has suggested.
The Gunners have found themselves in all sorts of problems as Mathieu Debuchy suffered a broken ankle, especially since doubts remain over the fitness of Laurent Koscielny and Calum Chambers.
As a result, Arsene Wenger is forced to consider the free agent market and try to bring at least another centre-back to the Emirates.
According to Daily Mail, the Gunners are currently looking at Diego Lugano and Joseph Yobo, both of whom already have Premier League experience.
The Uruguayan centre-back was close to moving to Middle East after leaving West Bromwich, but he could be returning to England.
Meanwhile, Joseph Yobo, 34, has left Fenerbahce and is currently searching for a new club. The Nigeria international had spent nine years at Goodison Park, making a total of 196 Premier League appearances for Everton and scoring 8 goals.
