Arsenal linked with Bayern Munich winger Leroy Sane

Arsenal are interested in signing Leroy Sane from Bayern Munich in the January transfer window, according to CaughtOffSide. The report has claimed that for Premier League club Arsenal to be able to bring the former Manchester City winger from Bundesliga outfit Bayern in the middle of the season, they will have to make a huge bid.

Sane has made eight starts and five substitute appearances in the Bundesliga for Bayern so far this season, scoring five goals and providing three assists in the process. The winger has scored four goals and given one assist in four UEFA Champions League games for the Bavarian giants so far this campaign.

Arsenal are at the top of the Premier League table at the moment with 37 points from 14 matches, five points clear of second-placed and defending champions Manchester City. Meanwhile, Bayern currently find themselves at the top of the Bundesliga table with 34 points from 15 games, four points clear of second-placed SC Freiburg.
