The report has claimed that Neves is keen on returning to the Premier League just months after joining Saudi Pro League side Al Hilal from Wolves, and Arsenal could be a potential destination for the Portugal international midfielder.

According to 90min, Arsenal want to sign a new midfielder in the January transfer window. Thomas Partey is injured at the moment, and the Gunners want to bring in a potential replacement for the Ghana international defensive midfielder whose future at the Emirates Stadium is uncertain.

Neves made 177 appearances in the Premier League during his time at Wolves. The Portugal international midfielder scored 21 goals and gave nine assists in those games. Arsenal are aiming to win the Premier League title this season and are also looking to progress to the knockout stages of the UEFA Champions League.
