Arsenal linked with Girona striker Artem Dovbyk

Arsenal are interested in signing Artem Dovbyk from Girona in the summer transfer window, according to Fichajes. The report has claimed that the Gunners are on the hunt for a new striker, and that the North London club have identified Dovbyk as a potential target.

Dovbyk has been on the books of Girona since the summer of 2023 when he joined from Dnipro-1. The 26-year-old Ukraine international striker has been an immediate hit at the Spanish club and has become one of their best and most important players. Dovbyk has made 19 starts and four substitute appearances in La Liga this season. He has scored 14 goals and given five assists in those games.

Arsenal are third in the Premier League table at the moment with 55 points from 25 matches, just two points behind leaders Liverpool. Meanwhile, Girona currently find themselves second in the La Liga table with 56 points from 25 matches, six points behind leaders Real Madrid.
