Arsenal are considering making a move for Napoli playmaker Jorginho once the transfer reopens in January, according to Talksport.
Whilst the North London club are keen to get the deal completed in the winter, they would be prepared to wait until the end of the season as they eye potential replacements for Mesut Ozil and Alexis Sanchez, who are both expected to move on.
Despite being born in Brazil, Jorginho made his international debut for Italy last year though he has been capped just twice.
The twenty-five year old has been at Napoli since the summer of 2014 and has since racked up one hundred and twenty-seven appearances in all competitions, scoring four goals.
Arsenal came from behind to beat Swansea City on Saturday afternoon, with the result keeping them level on points with fourth place Chelsea and they can now be backed at a price of 6/4 to finish in the top four.
