Arsenal linked with Newcastle United striker Alexander Isak

Arsenal are interested in signing Alexander Isak from Premier League rivals Newcastle United in the summer transfer window, according to Football Insider. The report has claimed that Arsenal are looking for a new striker, and that Newcastle and Sweden international star Isak on the shortlist of the North London club.

Although Arsenal are yet to make an approach to Newcastle over a potential deal for Isak, they do have a concrete interest in the 24-year-old striker and are keen on bringing him to the Emirates Stadium. The Gunners tried to sign Isak in the summer of 2022 before the striker made the move to Newcastle from Real Sociedad.

Isak has made 17 starts and three substitute appearances in the Premier League for Newcastle this season. He has scored 12 goals in those games. The Newcastle No. 14 has scored 10 goals and given one assist in 17 starts and five substitute appearances in the league for the Magpies.
