Premier League giants Arsenal have been showing interest in Benfica starlet Goncalo Guedes, according to Record.
The Gunners have been keeping close tabs on the talented footballer for quite some time and they appear to be thinking about making their interest concrete.
Namely, Arsenal scouts have watched the 19-year-old footballer during pre-season, which is enough to suggest they could soon come forward with an official proposal.
Guedes is widely regarded as one of Europe’s brightest prospects, and he enjoyed a breakthrough season with Benfica last term, scoring 3 goals in 18 league appearances.
The attacking midfielder has been linked with quite a few top clubs over the last year or so, but the Eagles have received no serious offers for his services.
The Gunners will be hoping to finally challenge for the Premier League title next season, and they can be backed at 6/1 to win the coveted trophy.
