France Football understands that Monaco defender Marcel Tisserand is on the radar of Premier League giants Arsenal.
The Gunners are desperate to reinforce their defence following injuries to Per Mertesacker and Gabriel Paulista, and they are currently in advanced talks for Shkodran Mustafi.
However, France Football claims they are also attempting to secure a deal for Monaco centre-back Marcel Tisserand.
The 23-year-old had come through the youth ranks at Stade Louis II, but he has so far made mere 6 league appearances for the Principality club.
Tisserand did, however, impress during loan stints with Lens and Toulouse, but he does not appear to be in the first team plans of head coach Leonardo Jardim, at least for the time being.
That is why Monaco would probably consider any serious offer for his services, especially if it comes from their former coach Arsene Wenger, who has been getting a lot of stick for his transfer dealings of late.
