Arsenal have made a bid of €50million (£43million) for Manchester City striker Gabriel Jesus, according to Goal. The Brazil international wants to leave last season’s Premier League champions following the signing of Erling Haaland from Borussia Dortmund, and Arsenal have stepped up their interest in him by making a bid.
Jesus has made 19 starts and seven substitute appearances in the Premier League for City this season, scoring eight goals and providing eight assists in the process. The 25-year-old made three starts and five substitute appearances in the Champions League for the Citizens this campaign, scoring four goals and giving one assist in the process.
Arsenal are fourth in the Premier League table at the moment with 66 points from 35 matches, while City are currently at the top of the league table with 89 points from 36 games.
