Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta likes Marc Guehi

Arsenal are interested in signing Marc Guehi from Premier League rivals Crystal Palace in the summer transfer window, according to TEAMtalk. The report has claimed that Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta is a big fan of Guehi’s ability on the ball and his experience in the top flight makes him preferable to targets from abroad.

Guehi is on the sidelines at the moment due to an injury, but when he played for Palace this season, the 23-year-old was superb. The England international is one of the best young centre-backs in the Premier League and has a bright future ahead of him.

Arsenal are at the top of the Premier League table at the moment with 80 points from 35 matches, a point ahead of second-placed and defending champions Manchester City, who have played 34 games. Meanwhile, Palace currently find themselves 14th in the league table with 40 points from 35 matches.
