Arsenal’s new signing Santi Cazorla has revealed how much he is enjoying life in London, reports the Metro.
A summer signing from Malaga, the midfielder has fitted into the Arsenal team very well indeed, creating plenty and scoring for the first time last week.
The Spaniard has been playing in a role just behind the strikers and appears to be relishing it, impressing many with his vision and flair.
Speaking a few weeks after sealing a big-money move from Spain, Cazorla said: “They paid a lot of money for me and the role they have given me is the one that I like. I am not finding it hard to adapt. I like the way the team plays.”
Gunners boss Arsene Wenger has been praising Cazorla too, clearly impressed with the impact his new signing has made.
Lukas Podolski, another summer signing for Arsenal, was on the score sheet for the first time recently too, so the new look team is looking good.
Next up for Wenger’s men is a home game with Southampton, one they are expected to win relatively comfortably.
Cazorla will hope to play a big part once again as he continues to emerge as a fans favourite at he Emirates.
At the moment, he is one of the signings of the season, no doubt about that.
