Portuguese daily newspaper A Bola claims that Arsenal have submitted a mega money offer for Sporting CP stars William Carvalho and Gelson Martins.
The Gunners appear determined to seriously reinforce their ranks this summer and they are reportedly closing in on Riyad Mahrez and Alexandre Lacazette.
With the two deals set to be completed, Arsenal officials have now turned their attention towards William Carvalho and Gelson Martins.
According to A Bola, the Gunners have offered a combined fee of €80 million, but the Lions are holding out for €90 million.
While Gelson Martins has a €60 million release clause in his contract, Sporting CP are prepared to sell William Carvalho for €30 million.
The two sides do appear to be close to reaching an agreement, so this is definitely a story to keep an eye on in the coming days.
