Arsenal have been offered a chance to sign Barcelona’s Denis Suarez, according to the Independent.
Having started out at Manchester City, the midfielder arrived to Barcelona in 2013. He played one season for the Catalans’ “B” team before heading out on loan, first to Sevilla where he worked with current Arsenal manager Unai Emery, and then to Villareal, each loan for a year. He returned to Camp Nou in 2016, but he hasn’t been able to nail down a starting spot for the La Liga champions.
Now completely out of Ernesto Valverde’s plans, his entourage have been informed that the club wouldn’t mind him leaving, and his services have been offered to Arsenal for as little as £14million.
It is a move, as the report claims, the Gunners are currently mulling over, with a view of replacing Aaron Ramsey, whose contract expires in the summer with no hope of a new deal being struck.
