Arsenal are interested in signing Fabio Miretti from Juventus in the January transfer window, according to CMW. The report in the Italian news outlet has claimed that the Premier League club could make a bid of €40 million (£35.5 million) for the 19-year-old Italy international midfielder. Although Juventus do not want to sell the teenager, an offer of that magnitude could be very tempting to the Italian giants.
Miretti is one of the best young Italian players around and is starting to establish himself as an important player in the Juventus first team. The teenager has made six starts and seven substitute appearances in Serie A so far this season, providing one assist in the process. The Juventus midfielder has also made three starts and two substitute appearances in the UEFA Champions League this season.
Arsenal are seven points clear of second-placed and defending champions Manchester City at the top of the Premier League table at the moment and are aiming to win the title. As for Juventus, the Bianconeri are looking to finish in the top four of Serie A.
