Following what is likely to be yet another trophy-less season for Arsenal, the club chiefs are planning a major squad overhaul in the summer.
Arsene Wenger looks to stay on at Arsenal bench despite failing to bring any silverware to the club over the last six years and he has been given the go ahead to rebuild the squad for next season.
According to Daily Mail, Arsene Wenger plans to get rid of Andrei Arshavin, Gael Clichy and Nicklas Bendtner as he wants to free up space for new signings.
The Frenchman is prepared to listen for offers for Emmanuel Eboue, Tomas Rosicky, Denilson, Abou Diaby and Manuel Almunia as well, hoping to raise enough cash for several big name signings.
Le Boss is reportedly ready to make a turnaround in his transfer policy and finally splash the cash on big name signings, which is the main reason for the planned clearout.
On the other hand, Arsenal are keeping tabs on Leighton Baines, Eden Hazard, Manuel Neuer and Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain, among others, with none of the Gunners’ transfer targets likely to come cheap.
