Premier League giants Arsenal are making ambitious plans for life after Alexis Sanchez – and possibly Mesut Ozil.
Gunners have sanctioned Sanchez’s departure to Manchester United on Monday with Armenia international Henrikh Mkhitaryan going the other way and putting an Arsenal shirt just a year and a half after joining the Red Devils.
Arsenal are also attempting to lure Borussia Dortmund star Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang who is the subject of transfer negotiations these last few days and it appears that Gunners could head into the next part of the season stronger than before.
With Gunners planning for the future with the arrivals of Konstantinos Mavropanos, Henrikh Mkhitaryan and possibly Aubameyang, Wenger is looking to add more quality to his ranks.
German media outlet Kicker report today that Gunners have set their sights on Bayer Leverkusen starlet Leon Bailey.
With 9 goals and 5 assists, this season – including a majestic backheel goal in a 4-1 win over Hoffenheim – Bailey has raised his growing stock in the Bundesliga and is turning plenty of big heads with his performances.
Arsenal are said to be leading the line for his signature with Arsene Wenger said to be planning a summer swoop for the 20-year-old Jamaica international wide man.
