The Express understands that Arsenal are ready to sell both Lukas Podolski and Joel Campbell in order to fund moves for Mattia Destro and Marek Hamsik.
Destro has made just seven league starts for Roma so far this season, with talks of a £15m bid from the North London club already spoken of.
The 23 year old Italy international is set to command a fee of around £15m, and while a defender and defensive midfielder are top of the Gunners’ wish list, a move for the forward is likely.
Hamsik’s representatives have been in England recently to establish the levels of interest in the midfielder.
Chelsea, Manchester United and Tottenham Hotspur have also been linked with a move for the 27 year old who has made over three hundred and twenty appearances for Napoli since signing for them in 2007, scoring eighty-two goals while he has also been capped seventy-five times by Serbia.
