Arsenal are willing to pay up to £40 million for Wolverhampton Wanderers winger Pedro Neto in the January transfer window, according to Football Transfers. The report has claimed that Wolves value the Portugal international winger at £70 million.
Football Transfers has reported that Arsenal would ideally like to sign both Neto from Wolves and England international striker Ivan Toney from Brentford in the January transfer window. However, due to a limited budget, Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta would be able to bring in one of them.
Arteta has decided on Neto. That is because the Arsenal manager wants to decrease the workload on Bukayo Saka, who is just 22 years of age and regularly plays for the Gunners and England. Neto has made 99 appearances in the Premier League so far in his career. The winger has scored 10 goals and given 15 assists in those games.
