Arsenal are ready to offer winger Leandro Trossard a new contract, according to Football Transfers. The Gunners have scheduled a meeting with the Belgium international winger to discuss extending his contract by a year from 2026 to 2027, plus the option of an additional season.
The report has claimed that Arsenal had planned these talks since Trossard arrived at the club from Premier League rivals Brighton and Hove Albion in January 2023. The winger is not guaranteed a place in the Gunners’ starting lineup, but he does make an impact and gets a decent amount of playing time.
Trossard has made 11 starts and 16 substitute appearances in the Premier League for Arsenal this season. The 29-year-old winger has scored eight goals and given one assist in those games. The Belgian has also scored four goals and provided one assist in six starts and two substitute appearances in the UEFA Champions League for the North London club this campaign.
